Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Model for Sprint Ability

Abstract



Speed is the soul of athletics and all track and field events are related to the speed. Moreover, the project that can best reflects the speed is the 100m sprint in athletics. This article, through the study of the dynamics involved in the 100m sprint, the sprint performance trends and physical fitness impacting the results, builds gray prediction model GM (1,1), and works out the forecast calculation expression for men and women's 100m sprint. Use the matlab software to analyze the factors influencing athletes’ performance and find out the motor skill is the most important factor affecting the performance of athletes. The conclusions show that athletes in training should pay special attention to the training of motor skills, so the athletes can gain advantage in the game based on the reasonable skill.
