Bifurcation Solutions of a Kirchhoff-type Nonlinear Beam with Linear Damping

Abstract



Vibrations of a Kirchhoff-type nonlinear beam with linear damping are investigated. Bifurcation solutions are obtained by the perturbation method and the priori estimate. Two new nontrivial solutions are bifurcated from a trivial solution and the stability of nontrivial bifurcation solutions is analyzed. These analytical approximate results are better applied to the bifurcation control.
