Integrating Honeypots to The Corporate Environment

Abstract



Effective network security management depends to a great extent on the understanding of existing and emerging threats on the organizations internal and external services. In order to protect information systems and its users it important to collect accurate, concise, high-quality information about present malicious activities and cyber-attacks. In this work, an overview on honeypots is given. Experimental results obtained by two different honeypot strategies were analyzed and their relative data was pictorial represented.
