S. Kovshov, V. Kovshov

Abstract

Open-pit mines have to comply modern safety requirements in the field of dust suppression. Dust arising in process of trucking is the reason of uncomfortable working environment.

The total quantity of dust that enters the environment represents part of the risk of exposure for working environment. Practical application of chemical agents solution is a positive means of overcoming a major problem of open pit mines. Dust suppression on roads during transportation with help of using chemical technologies is still the most relevant and unexplored field of activity
the pollution by dust of construction and surrounding locations. The paper briefly describes the chemical technologies for controlling dust during transportation of friable materials.
