Dynamically Consistent Euler Scheme for Computer Virus Model under Human Intervention

S.N. Afiyah, A. Junikhah

Abstract

In this paper, Euler scheme is applied to discretize a computer virus model under human intervention. The dynamical properties of discrete model are then analyzed. Specifically we determine the existence and stability of the fixed point. It is shown that the discrete model is dynamically consistent with the continuous model for relatively small step size. Such dynamical properties are also confirmed by numerical simulations using MATLAB.

Keywords

Dynamically consistent, Euler scheme, computer virus model under human intervention.
