Distance in Graphs with Respect to Cliques

Cherian Thomas

Abstract

In this paper we define various distance parameters in graphs with respect to cliques and obtain some characteristic properties and relationships between those parameters. We also find the centre, radius, diameter and periphery of a graph and in particular obtain the condition under which a graph becomes the periphery of some graph and also find the centre and radius of a tree.
