Abstract

0.0127 m diameter rough pipe. In this paper, we have studied the effect of roughness parameter, effect of liquid flow rate, effect of pseudoplasticity on static pressure, pressure drop, friction factor. Also, numerical simulation has been performed with the help of ANN and CFD software. Fluent 6.3 software predicts the flow structure, static pressure, pressure drop, and friction factor, shear stress, and shear strain. CFD predicted result is well matched with experimental result. ANN algorithm has been used to minimize the effect of roughness parameter, flow rate, pseudoplasticity on pressure drop and friction factor.

Keywords
