T.D. Andini, S.N. Afiyah, V.A. Fitria

Abstract

Students in computer science department must take mathematics including linear algebra, discrete mathematics and numerical method, as the basic course of computer science. Those courses often are feared by almost of students, because it needs a deep understanding about mathematic analysis. However, when the learning process is supported by a technology, it will be easier for the lecturers in case of delivering the materials. Moreover, it can improve the students’ motivation and competence in order to explore and find the new materials. One of the technology used for learning process is website-based learning or more Known as eLearning. ELearning gives some advantages for the users especially the students of computer sciences department, they can easily access the learning media and understand the theory of numerical method independently, so it could motivate student for learning and improving their competence.
