Wind Energy in Israel, Poland and Ukraine: Features and Opportunities

Abstract



In the paper the authors analyze the perspective of the development of wind energy as a part of the energy sector in the following countries: Israel, Poland and Ukraine. The authors systematized the progress and problems to increase the share of wind energy in the total energy consumption in Israel, Poland and Ukraine. Also the authors highlighted the features of wind energy development in the above countries. In addition, the authors analyse and identify the opportunities of wind energy in Israel, Poland and Ukraine. The authors systematized the main incentive economic instruments and mechanism to develop the wind energy sector. Moreover, the authors highlighted the popular instrument in each country. The authors also analysed the rate of feed-in tariff in Israel, Poland and Ukraine.
