Abstract

The objective of this study is to estimate Chloride of groundwater in Lamphun, Thailand using multiple linear regression analysis. Data used in this study consists of Chloride, Iron, Nitrate, pH, Total dissolved solids and Total hardness provided by the Department of Groundwater Resources of Thailand. The multiple linear regression equation is selected by the best subset method. Analysis shows that variables affected the Chloride estimation
are Nitrate and Total dissolved solids with adjusted coefficient of determination 0.444 and standard error of estimation 0.30723.

Keywords
