Simulation of Net Profit in Thermal Power Enterprises Based on System Dynamics

Shuliang Liu, Juanli Wang

Abstract

How timely and dynamically reflect the changing trend of profits is of great significance to make production decisions for thermal power enterprises. Using system dynamics theory, this paper builds a net profit simulation model. The model considers various factors to simulate the changing trend of net profit. And with historical financial data of a certain thermal power enterprise as the basis, it simulates the changes of net profit in the next five years and find out the main factors which affect its change. The results show that the model is authenticity and reliability, and has the ability to provide a basis for thermal power enterprises to make decisions.
