Electromagnetic Response of Complex Resistivity Body Based on Volume Integral Equation Method Under the Concave Terrain
Jianping Li, Haiyang Peng
Abstract
Three dimensional electromagnetic response of complex resistivity body that buried in a concave terrain homogeneous earth can be attained by volume integral equation method. First, volume integral equation is derived from Maxwell's equations, in solving the integral of electric dyadic Green’s function which is the key problem , this paper divides it into primary current part, primary charge part and secondary part; then the coal-coal model of complex resistivity is introduced into volume integral equations, so the calculations include IP effect, electromagnetic induction, and terrain effect; last, through the model simulations, we research the effect of complex resistivity parameters to abnormal body’s scattered electric field, summarize the change of scattered electric field, therefore ,provide more abundant and accurate data for geological interpretation.
Keywords
electromagnetic response, complex resistivity, volume integral equation ,concave terrain.
