Adaptive Fuzzy Backstepping Control For a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

Abstract


This paper investigates the control problem of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems by means of backstepping control method. To solve the problem of "explosion of terms" in backstepping design procedure, the derivative of the virtual control input signals as well as unknown functions are approximated by fuzzy systems. The stability analysis are carried
out by using Lyapunov based approach. Numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
