Dependencies of Maturation Delay and Death Rate on a Stage Structured Predator- Prey Model

T. Adeniran, R. O. Ayeni

Abstract

In a recent paper [8] a general and robust predator-prey model with, stage structure with constant maturation time delay was formulated. Their linear stability work shows that if the resource is dynamic, as in nature, there is a window in maturation item delay parameter that generates sustainable oscillatory dynamics. We show in this paper, using a numerical technique that maturation delay plays as vital and significant role in the model.
