Modelling of an eco-genetic system: a mathematical model

Md. Sabiar Rahman

Abstract

An eco-genetic model of two genetically distinguished prey population and one predator population is proposed. The stability and bifurcation analysis are carried out. The predator-free system settles at an equilibrium which can be destabilized by the predators under a suitable parametric condition. The mathematical analysis shows that the solution of the proposed system coexists at a stable steady state. The ecological implications of the analytical and numerical findings are presented.

Keywords
