A study on a class of nonlinear Schrodinger equation with the homotopy perturbation method and Fourier transform

Abstract



In this letter, a class of nonlinear Schrodinger equation is discussed, which is the characteristic equation of controlling the curvature and deflection of the vortex rope movement. Approximate solutions of the Schrodinger equation in in general form with initial conditions is obtained by using the homotopy perturbation method and Fourier transform. Our method can also be used to solve other similar nonlinear partial differential equations.
