Optimization Strategy of Network Connection based on Wireless Communication Technology

Lu Yuting

Abstract

The network connectivity is a key indicator to evaluate network survivability and sustainability. In order to optimize the network connectivity, an optimization strategy of network connection based on wireless communication technology is proposed in this paper, which makes full use of the huge flexibility of wireless link establishment. The network is firstly detected and measured in real time, and then the network connectivity is quantified according to these results. When the connectivity is less than the given value, the backup step of wireless link is started. The wireless backup algorithm can reduce the desired wireless resource in the process of backup. According to the two steps, the strategy can ensure the network connectivity as much as possible. The simulation results demonstrate the proposed scheme still can assure the basic network connectivity when the average link failure is about 70%. Compared with the existing wired link backup mechanism, the degree of the network sustainability in the proposed scheme is improved by about 7%~9% under the same network environment.
