Chaotic Detection for Doppler Signal of Radio Fuze in Strong Noise

Xiaopeng Yan, Yongni Mou, Ping Li, Ruili Jia

Abstract

The Doppler signal of radio fuze is always buried in the noise, so it is difficult to detect useful information. One of the most profound features for chaotic system is its extreme sensitivity to initial conditions. Using this feature, we offer a new method for fuze Doppler signal abstraction in strong noise based on the chaotic system in this paper. Starting from the analysis based on the chaotic theory, we establish a detection model of chaotic system to fuze Doppler signal and analyze the impact of model parameters to abstract effect on the chaotic system. Subsequently, we study the signal detection ability of the chaotic system and test its abstraction effect via the simulation experiments in different SNR. Simulation results show the new method can detect fuze Doppler signal in strong noise efficiently.
