Application of homotopy analysis method to functional integral equations

In this paper, a class of functional integral equations is solved by means of an analytic technique, namely the Homotopy analysis method (HAM). Comparisons are made between the homotopy perturbation method, the exact solution and the homotopy analysis method.
The results reveal that the proposed method is very effective and simple.
